  I was extremely disappointed in the service I received at Forward Law. I had asked Ryan to complete a straight forward property purchase for me. I met with Ryan to sign documents, during the signing I noticed an overcharge of $1500. I asked Ryan about the charge and he told me it was a mistake and that he would rectify it. I already had the bank draft made out so I still had to pay the overcharge and wait on a refund. After 4 weeks I had to call and ask for my refund, I went to pick up my cheque and it was short a couple hundred dollars. I was told that they had “forgot” to charge me for two services, they weren’t really sure what the services were or how much they each cost but they knew how much to deduct from my refund. Forward law deals with property purchases on a daily basis, I find it hard to believe that they would forget to charge for a service. Overall I had to pay $1350 for a simple property purchase, any other lawyer in Kamloops charges $950-$1000 at the most. I will be taking my business elsewhere from now on.
